The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid Level Systems Engineer in Seal Beach, CA or Colorado Springs, CO.
The Space Superiority analysis team in the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) has a need for two creative and highly motivated lead systems engineer who are interested in working difficult problems at the front end of the business.
These positions will be located in Seal Beach, CA, and Colorado Springs, CO, (candidate's choice) and will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
The VWC's Space Superiority team is responsible for producing constructive and virtual analysis for future space control concepts, capabilities, and architectures.
A successful candidate will lead, conduct, and deliver customer focused constructive analysis and modeling and simulation to address a variety of capability gaps within the Space Superiority mission area to include advanced technologies, CONOPs and architectures.
Position
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee execution of efforts to include planning, scoping, development, testing, analysis, implementation, schedule and reportingDevelop new and modify existing M&S tools to be integrated in to a large simulation suite using MATLAB, STK, AFSIM or other simulation toolUtilize new and current tools to conduct statistically-based analysisDevelop observations and recommendations, based on data, that will be presented to senior leadershipExercises critical thinking and innovative problem solvingWork in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to lead small teams of 5-10 and provide support to other teams as dictated by mission needsWork with United States Government (USG) customers, Boeing leadership, and software & systems engineers to translate high level customer requirements into specific work packages and detailed hardware & software requirementsSupport new business pursuits including white papers and proposalsMentor and coach junior engineers.

Experience:
