Applied Workforce Research Scientist

The Human Resources' Employee Listening and Organizational Research team is seeking an APPLIED WORKFORCE RESEARCH SCIENTIST who will manage and develop a portfolio of applied research projects and listening mechanisms enabling progressive evidence-based solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing innovative mixed-method applied industrial and organizational research designs, program assessments, assessment techniques, and timely delivery of actionable findings.
It is critical that you are able to package and articulate complex data insights to non-technical and senior executive audiences through thoughtful business cases and storytelling.
You must have a bias for creating meaningful impact by turning insight in action.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Employee Listening and Organizational Research within Human Resources' Talent Management function.
You should be motivated by team performance, innovation, and a curiosity to solve complex and ambiguous problem sets through scalable solutions.
This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Everett, Washington.
Position
Responsibilities:
Serve as a collaborative thought partner and consultant on cross-functional teams and for senior leaders across the organizationConduct and manage creation-through-delivery of actionable research projects and programs addressing current company policies, procedures, strategies, and initiatives for talent and cultureDevelop and maintain psychometrically valid listening and assessment tools (surveys, etc.
) and quantitative and qualitative research initiativesExpert advisement regarding the theory and practice of applied industrial and organizational research methods and findingsProject and stakeholder managementEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

years of experience executing strategic workforce planning strategies5
years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously5
years of experience with leading the design and stakeholder research efforts and communicate solutions5
years of experience performing statistical analysis or using predictive modeling10
years of experience in using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables10
years of experience working with Microsoft Office ApplicationsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's or Doctoral degree in industrial-organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or a related social science disciplineProficiency using at least one statistics program (SPSS, R, SAS, Python, etc.
) and conduct and interpret basic and complex statistical analyses (ANOVA, t-test, multiple regression, statistical modeling)5

Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.

$81,000 - Max:
$144,000.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
